Selected work
Properties we've lit, all of them at night.
Facades, gardens, courtyards and pools across southern Ontario. Each photo links to the service it shows, so you can read how it was done.
The gallery
A third lit, the rest left dark.
Look for what isn't lit as much as what is. In every one of these, most of the property is in shadow, which is what lets the tree, the stone or the doorway stand out.
Front walk and a specimen tree, the house left to glow.
Entry walk in bollards, doorway brightest. โ Burlington
Stone outcrop, grazed low. โ Campbellville
Courtyard and firepit, lighting and audio. โ Mississauga
Pool, planting and canopy lit as one scene.
A specimen tree, uplit for its structure.
Trees across an open lawn, lit in intervals.
Garden path beside the house, canopy uplit.
A walk under the canopy, lit from below.
Ornamental grass at the edge of the walk.
A side yard: cedars and planting against the fence.
Solid brass path light, close up.
What you can't see here
Most of it is buried or hidden.
Photos show the effect, not the work: wire buried at depth, sealed connections, transformers sized with headroom, and fixtures tucked into planting so you don't see them by day. That standard is written down on the design expertise page, and the steps are on the process page.
